Chicagoan emcee RondoNumbaNine has been arrested for murder. As reported by the Chicago Tribune, 17-year-old emcee RondoNumbaNine, whose real name is Clint Massey, has been arrested on murder charges stemming from the fatal February shooting of dispatch driver Javan Boyd. An unnamed co-defendant has also been arrested, and they're currently being held on $2 million bail. The incident allegedly took place near Chicago's Wentworth Gardens in the early hours of the morning on February 22, Boyd having been shot seven times while waiting for his next passenger. He was pronounced dead two hours after being taken to hospital. Police claim to have found Massey's fingerprints on the vehicle, and are also in possession of partial video footage of the murder. Witnesses also claim to have seen Massey and the co-defendant shoot into Boyd's vehicle with handguns. This comes after a wave of scrutiny Massey recently faced for posting a picture of himself holding a rocket launcher last December, which caused the Chicago Police Department to order official an alert. He later claimed it was a "just a publicity stunt". RondoNumbaNine was recently co-signed by Lupe Fiasco, the two having collaborated on his November 2013 single "Life Of A Savage". He's also affiliated with Fredo Santana and Lil Durk.

Watch The Duck 4. Change Your Life f. T.I. 5. Fancy f. Charli XCX 6. New B**** 7. Work 8. Impossible Is Nothing 9. Goddess 10. Black Widow f. Rita Ora 11. Lady Patra f. Mavado 12. F*** Love 13. Bounce 14. Rolex 15. Just Askin' It's good to see that Iggy working with Chali XCX and the two sounds of the respective artists seem to match in energy, if not much else. Of course, the song they did together was already released, but it's nice that the song secured itself a spot on the album. Although, aside from appearances from Rita Ora, Mavado, and T.I., it looks like she's going to be handling this effort largely by herself. Not that we're complaining, we're just excited to see the beautiful Iggy Azalea really put herself to the test. The New Classic is coming soon, so stay posted. In the meantime, peep the official album art in the gallery. What are your thoughts on the upcoming Iggy Azalea album?
Frank Ocean was payed over 200 grand to provide vocals for Chipotle's new ad campaign, however he never did. Now Chipotle is seeking some good ol' fashioned legal recompense. Chipotle may fill our stomachs, but they're looking to burn a h*** right through Frank Ocean's pocket. To be fair, he was payed by the Mexican Grill super chain around $212,500 to donate some vocals to their new marketing campaign, called "The Scarecrow." The Fiona Apple cover of the "Pure Imagination" song from "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate factory" done for Chipotle; that was supposed Frank Ocean's cover. This all stems back to a deal that Chipotle made with CAA for Frank Ocean. He agreed to do the song, which would accompany a video that seemed fairly tangential to the Mexican Grill hub. Trouble arose when Ocean grew angry at the fact that Chipotle featured their logo at the end of the video, therefore never provided the vocals. So, Frank Ocean was mad that Chipotle use their logo... in their own ad. Chipotle says, “Ocean has been unjustly enriched," but Ocean's attorney's say: "When Frank was asked to participate in this project, Chipotle's representatives told him that the thrust of the campaign was to promote responsible farming. There was no Chipotle reference or logo in the initial presentation, and Chipotle told Frank that was an intentional element of the campaign. Frank was also promised that he'd have the right to approve the master and all advertising." As these things go, the issue will remain of the "he said, she said" affair until more issues come to light, or more likely - one settlement behind closed doors and a non-disclosure agreement later, we never hear of this again. So who do you think is in the wrong here?
Despite claims from the media and Young Thug himself (apparently), the rapper is still reportedly signed to Atlantic Records. There have been many rumors as to where Young Thug is going to sign, some instigated by the rapper himself. However, apparently Young Thug has no one to sign to, as of yet, as he's still reportedly signed to Atlantic and 1017 Brick Squad. This revelation comes as pretty baffling, especially given the claims that Young Thug made. He claimed to have signed to Cash Money before Birdman debunked it as rumor and he's mulled over where he would like to go during interviews, on the record. Curiously enough though, when Young Thug's "Stoner," cropped up on the Billboard, Atlantic gave in a request to properly credit the song as belonging to them. Also, they confirmed with Complex that Gucci Mane's imrint, 1017 Brick Squad still belonged to Atlantic despite them having allegedly dropped Gucci back in September. Atlantic seems to think Young Thug is very much still signed with them, but Young Thug apparently is not under the same impression. So what do you think is exactly going on here?
That did not take long. Less than a day after Webbie said he was planning on collaborating soon with the recently released Lil Boosie, their first collaboration surfaces in the form of “Wartime.”
The song, produced by $hop With Kent, features Webbie on the chorus only with Boosie providing the only verse. The song features Boosie proclaiming he doesnt “give a f*ck about jail” and a snippet of Menace II Society.
Check out Webbie and Boosie’s first collaboration since Boosie’s prison release, “Wartime” below:
